Efficiency

The Yukon offers a number of programs and services that help businesses, residents and institutions save energy. Many of these are delivered by the Canada/Yukon Energy Solutions Centre and Yukon Housing Corporation.

The Yukon received an "A-" in the 2004 Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance - Annual Report Card ( 33 KB).

The report card is issued by the Canadian Energy Efficiency Alliance, which is a not-for-profit organization established in 1995 to promote the efficient use of energy in Canada. The National Report Card provides a brief outline of the various energy efficiency initiatives that have been undertaken by the provinces, territories and federal government.
